Fixed BOSS AI GUI so it actually works without breaking. The menu used to vanish when launching Ollama, debug mode didn’t log properly, and AI responses had no indication of processing. Now Ollama runs in the background, AI shows a “Please wait…” message while thinking, and debug mode actually logs stuff.
“View Logs” was useless. Clicking it did nothing. Fixed it to detect the default terminal so logs open properly. Works manually but not through the GUI—something to check later.
Ollama kept changing ports like it was playing hide-and-seek. Every restart broke the script. Locked it to port ##### and made the GUI check if it’s actually running before letting AI answer anything.
Closing the GUI didn’t stop Ollama. Had to manually kill it every time. Now it shuts down automatically when the menu closes. No more rogue AI processes lurking in the background.
AI output formatting is a mess. Too many line breaks, looks ugly. Will deal with it later.
Didn’t touch real-time voice modulation. Looked at options like RVC, SO-VITS-SVC, and Voicemeeter, but that’s for another day.
End result: GUI works, AI runs, logs mostly work, and the system isn’t a total pain to manage anymore. No next steps for now—might mess with it later.
